Pay Rate: $17.00 – $18.00 / hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
We are seeking a reliable, motivated Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join an industrial equipment supplier in Baton Rouge! This dual-role position combines warehouse organization with local pickup truck deliveries to industrial plants. If you are punctual, customer-focused, eager to learn, and looking for a stable day-shift schedule, this is a great career opportunity.
Local Deliveries: Drive a company pickup truck to make timely, professional deliveries and unloads at local plant sites (No CDL Required).
Shipping & Receiving: Unload incoming shipments (FedEx/UPS), check in orders, match packing slips to tickets, and stage materials for delivery.
Warehouse & Inventory: Operates sit-down forklifts, conduct routine cycle counts, and keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and plant staff during off-site drops and deliveries.
Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
Education: High School Diploma or GED verified.
Punctuality & Attitude: Must show up on time every day, bring a positive attitude, and be a helpful team player.
Equipment Experience: Forklift experience is a plus, but on-site forklift certification will be provided!
Physical & Background: Able to pass a 10-panel drug test and background check.
Preferred Certifications: TWIC card and/or OSHA certification are highly preferred (but not required).
Consistent Hours: Steady weekday schedule with full-time day hours and weekends off.
On-the-Job Training: Get certified on sit-down forklift equipment on site.
Competitive Pay: Starting at $17–$18/hr depending on experience.
