Salary: $22/hr

Concrete Production Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture stone/concrete pots and planters.

• Measure and mix concrete/clay materials.

• Measure and cut wood for molds and production.

• Use hand and power tools to complete production tasks.

• Move, wrap, and prepare finished products.

• Follow daily production instructions and work independently.

Expected Results

• Learn the production process during the first 2 weeks of training.

• Work independently with minimal supervision by approximately the 3rd week.

• Complete work accurately and at a steady, fast pace.

• Follow measurements, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Skills Required

• Basic math and measurement skills.

• Ability to read and use a tape measure.

• Understand measurements such as grams, fluid ounces, and fractions.

• Comfortable working with concrete/clay, wood, and tools.

• Able to follow directions and learn quickly.

Experience Required

• Concrete, clay, manufacturing, construction, woodworking, or similar hands-on experience preferred.

• Experience using hand and power tools preferred.

• Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualities Required

• Independent and self-motivated.

• Dependable and hardworking.

• Quick learner.

• Comfortable getting dirty and working in a gritty environment.

• Able to keep up in a fast-paced production setting.

• Must report to work sober and fit for duty.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Able to stand for long periods.

• Comfortable performing repetitive, physical, hands-on work.
