General Laborer – Greenhouse Project

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Start Date: Monday, August 17, 2026
Project Duration: At least 2 weeks

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers for a temporary project with one of our clients in Waxhaw, NC. This is a physically demanding position that will involve moving and stacking materials inside greenhouses.

Job Responsibilities

Move cinder blocks weighing up to 50 lbs. into greenhouse structures.
Stack and organize cinder blocks according to project specifications.
Perform repetitive lifting, carrying, and stacking throughout the workday.
Assist with general labor and material-handling tasks as assigned.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.
Work effectively as part of a team to complete project goals.

Qualifications

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
Previous general labor, warehouse, construction, landscaping, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
Must be dependable and have excellent attendance.
Must be able to follow instructions and work safely.
Must be available to work the full Monday–Friday schedule.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $18.00/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Start Date: Monday, August 17, 2026
