Job Overview: 
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Electrical Assembler for a manufacturing client in the Lacon, IL area. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, installing, and testing electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience, the ability to read schematics, and experience bending conduit and routing cable.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to assemble and install electrical systems and components.
  • Perform wiring, cable routing, conduit bending, equipment installation, and electrical testing using hand and power tools.
  • Inspect completed work to identify hazards, defects, or required repairs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve project-specific challenges.
  • Maintain documentation and identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
 
Qualifications & Requirements: 
  • Electrical wiring experience and basic electrical knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Experience working with AC and DC electrical circuits
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Medium-voltage/high-amperage experience 
  • Knowledge of NEC Code requirements (Preferred)
