Overview: Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Full-Time Lawn & Garden Mechanic for a local Bremerton-area employer. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining outdoor power equipment in a fast-paced shop environment.

 

JOB DUTIES:

• Inspect and diagnose equipment issues accurately
• Repair and maintain riding lawn mowers, walk-behind mowers, rototillers, edgers, chainsaws, and two-cycle equipment
• Complete repairs efficiently in a high-volume work environment
• Assist with customer service when needed
• Load and unload equipment safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Research and identify replacement parts using parts databases and online systems
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous experience repairing lawn and garden equipment required
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. as needed
• Strong physical stamina
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Willingness to assist customers during busy periods
• Basic computer skills required

Hours/Shift:

Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5-day work week. Days off would be 1 weekday and Sundays; Saturday availability is required.

 

Pay:

$23-$34/ hour
