We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Welder with 2–10 years of relevant experience in sheet metal welding and fabrication. This is a specialized role requiring experience welding and assembling thin-gauge metals, typically 16–22 gauge, for HVAC ductwork, frames, housings, and related components. The ideal candidate has strong experience in HVAC sheet metal welding and understands how to properly set and adjust welding equipment to achieve high-quality results. Responsibilities:

• Weld and assemble sheet metal frames according to specifications.
• Weld thin-gauge sheet metal used in HVAC applications.
• Set and adjust welding equipment appropriately for 16–22 gauge materials.
• Perform welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Assist with various sheet metal fabrication projects throughout the shop.
• Operate forming and brake machines to bend and shape metal.
• Read and follow specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
• Support production needs and perform other shop duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements:

• 2–10 years of hands-on HVAC sheet metal welding/fabrication experience.
• Proven experience welding thin-gauge sheet metal (16–22 gauge).
• Strong understanding of how to set welding equipment for thin materials.
• Experience working with sheet metal such as steel, aluminum, or copper.
• Experience welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, forming, and brake machines.
• Ability to read and work from specifications and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
