Position Overview

The Bartender will be responsible for crafting quality beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and skilled at balancing efficiency with personalized service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and consistency.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a positive guest experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with all regulations.
• Process cash, credit card, and point-of-sale transactions accurately.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
• Collaborate with servers and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage offerings and menu items to make recommendations to guests.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor control standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, lounge, cocktail bar, or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and classic cocktails.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a high-volume setting.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Current alcohol service certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience crafting specialty or signature cocktails.
• Knowledge of wine service and food pairings.
• Ability to build rapport with guests and encourage repeat business.
• Previous leadership experience or interest in mentoring team members.
