Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring Apartment Cleaners / Turnover Technicians for a property management client in Lexington, Kentucky. This position focuses on preparing apartment units for new residents by ensuring each unit is clean, move-in ready, and meets quality standards.
This is a temporary opportunity to start, with the potential to transition into a long-term, full-time position for dependable employees who demonstrate strong work ethic and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean vacant apartment units prior to new tenant move-in
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum all living areas
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas
- Wipe down cabinets, countertops, appliances, windows, and fixtures
- Remove trash and debris from units as needed
- Report maintenance concerns or damages to supervisors
- Ensure apartments meet company cleanliness and move-in standards
- Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or apartment turnover experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the day
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
