Salary: 60K-80k

Chemist / Chemical Technician $60,000 - $80,000/year (DOE) 

 

Our client, a technical services company specializing in process separations, chemical technologies, and laboratory analysis for the oil & gas, energy, and industrial process sectors, is looking for a Chemist or Chemical Technician to join their growing team near Conroe, TX.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis and laboratory testing on process, water, and hydrocarbon samples
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment to ensure accurate, reliable results
• Document and interpret analytical data to support engineering and client recommendations
• Help troubleshoot process contamination issues by identifying root causes
• Support testing and development of chemical technologies and process chemical products
• Maintain lab safety, quality control, and proper chemical handling procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering
• OR: No degree required if you have considerable hands-on chemical analysis experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a technical team
