Landscape Construction Project Manager

Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting for a Landscape Construction Project Manager.

Service Line: Direct Hire, Full-time

Pay: $90,000 – $120,000/year DOE

Responsibilities:

* Manage landscape construction projects from pre-construction through completion
* Review contracts, plans, drawings, project scope, timelines, and budgets
* Prepare bids and proposals and coordinate subcontractor bidding
* Select and manage subcontractors and vendors
* Coordinate project kick-off meetings and pre-construction job walks
* Review plans and coordinate permitting and inspections
* Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor quality, progress, safety, and schedules
* Manage project budgets, payment schedules, and change orders
* Communicate proactively with clients regarding schedules, budgets, and project milestones
* Coordinate with design, estimating, procurement, and construction teams
* Resolve jobsite issues and keep projects on schedule
* Manage project closeout, final inspections, and warranty follow-up

Requirements:

* 3+ years of project management experience in landscape construction, general contracting, or a related field
* Strong knowledge of landscape construction, including hardscape, softscape, irrigation, drainage, and grading
* Experience reading construction plans and specifications
* Experience with estimating, bidding, subcontractor management, budgets, and schedules
* Knowledge of permitting and building inspection processes
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Bluebeam
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites
* Ability to work outdoors and walk, stand, bend, and kneel on uneven terrain
