General Assembly Associate

Location: Minooka, IL
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 P

Potential for Long Term Hire Union after 60 days

Job Overview:

Our client in Minooka is seeking reliable and motivated General Assembly Associates to join their growing team. This company specializes in manufacturing laundry and trash chute systems used in apartment buildings, healthcare facilities, and commercial properties. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, can follow assembly instructions, and takes pride in producing quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble laundry and trash chute components according to company specifications.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Read and follow assembly instructions, work orders, and diagrams.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Move materials and components throughout the production area as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.

Please note: Candidates must be willing to work in a team setting, have great communication skills (written and verbal), and must be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions
Experience using hand and power tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
