Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a growing and reputable automotive repair shop in Coal City, IL to hire an experienced Automotive Mechanic. Compensation

$26.00 - $38.00 per hour
Salary-based position with commission opportunities
Weekly pay
Monday - Friday
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on automotive vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and wiring-related issues
Complete vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs
Repair and replace automotive components as needed
Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally

Qualifications

Previous automotive mechanic experience required
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience working with electrical systems and vehicle wiring
Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Valid driver's license preferred
