2nd shift: Quality Technician

Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a growing manufacturing company in Wyoming, IL seeking a Quality Technician to join their team.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
Hours: 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support quality assurance efforts in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting parts and products, verifying compliance with specifications, and helping ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured parts and components
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
Identify and report non-conforming materials and products
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
Support production teams in maintaining quality standards
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality requirements

Qualifications

Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience using precision measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
