Monday - Friday, 6am-4pm

 

The Maintenance Technician is to perform preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, visual inspections, minor repairs; calibrations that are necessary in maintaining equipment, machinery, instruments, test equipment, wiring and all associated hardware at required specifications.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for maintenance and repair of hydraulic pumps, electric and air motors, etc.

Ability to troubleshoot PLC control systems and electrical components up to 480 V 3 phase equipment.

Diagnose problems, repair, replace parts, test and adjust as needed.

Complete accurate paperwork for repair and spare parts inventory.

Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service.

Conduct daily maintenance shop housekeeping in compliant of safety standards.

Follow, lead, demonstrate and adhere to safety and quality principles.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED required.

 

COMPETENCIES

Experience with Forklift and Scissor lift.

Computer proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, email and capability to learn other applications with basic instructions.

Flexibility in schedule; ability to work overtime depending upon business needs.

Ability to exhibit basic skills, read, write and speak English.

Ability to work in face-paced environment.

Maintenance experience preferred.
