Vertical Mill Operator

Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a growing manufacturing company in Wyoming, IL seeking Vertical Mill Operators to join their team.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Vertical Mill Operators to operate CNC and/or manual vertical milling machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have machining experience, a commitment to quality, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Operate vertical milling machines according to work instructions and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Load materials and monitor machine operations
Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools
Make basic machine adjustments as needed
Maintain accurate production records
Follow safety procedures and quality standards
Keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications

Previous machining or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable attendance and positive attitude
