Brake Press / Laser Operator

Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a growing manufacturing company in Wyoming, IL seeking a Brake Press / Laser Operator to join their team.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday

Job Summary

The Brake Press / Laser Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating fabrication equipment to produce quality metal components according to specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing experience who are looking for a stable position with a great work schedule and three-day weekends.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate brake press and laser cutting equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Meet production goals while maintaining accuracy and quality

Qualifications

Previous brake press, laser operation, or metal fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and grow within the company
