Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving, storing, and distributing materials throughout the facility to support production and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, and stage materials and products.
Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
Transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility.
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Prepare materials for production, packaging, or shipment.
Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist with other warehouse and production duties as assigned.

Required

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic math and computer skills.
Dependable attendance and positive work ethic.

Preferred

Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling experience.
Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial trucks.
Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.

Physical Requirements

Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials.
Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work extended periods on your feet.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
