Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing operation in Garwood, NJ. This position is responsible for operating production machinery, monitoring equipment throughout the manufacturing process, performing basic adjustments, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine operating, manufacturing, or production experience who is looking for a stable, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery

• Load raw materials and components into machines

• Monitor equipment during production to ensure proper operation

• Make basic machine adjustments as needed

• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects

• Follow production specifications, work orders, and operating procedures

• Measure or check products to ensure they meet required specifications

• Maintain accurate production counts and documentation

• Identify machine or product issues and notify the appropriate supervisor

• Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with minor equipment issues

• Keep machines and surrounding work areas clean and organized

• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines

• Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous Machine Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Operator, or Machine Helper experience preferred

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn machinery and equipment

• Comfortable using basic hand tools and measuring equipment

• Ability to follow written and verbal production instructions

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to lift and move materials as required

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
