Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Appliance Technician to join our team. The Appliance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial appliances. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to providing professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance malfunctions and determine the appropriate repair.
• Repair and service refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, ranges, dishwashers, and other appliances.
• Install and test new appliances according to manufacturer specifications.
• Replace defective or worn parts and components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer service manuals.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and basic refrigeration troubleshooting as required.
• Test appliances after repairs to ensure proper and safe operation.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and work performed.
• Communicate repair needs, recommendations, and costs professionally to customers.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
