Position: Kitchen Lead
Shift: Mon-Thurs. 12pm-8pm, Fri. 10a-6pm

Essential Responsibilities:
Provide direction to volunteers who prepare and serve meals
Manage court ordered community service workers and delegate their job duties.
Manage after meal clean up process.
Enforce kitchen safety and organizational protocols.
Assist in meal preparation in the absence of a meal provider.
Ensure facilities are in order for daily operations.
Monitor clients during meal service.
Opening/closing shift responsibilities.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements:
High School Diploma, or GED.
Knowledge of kitchen and food safety requirements.
ServSafe certification is preferred or completion of certification within 60 days of hire.
Four years or more experience in a kitchen or restaurant is preferred.
Prior experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office is preferred.

Physical and Work Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling and reaching.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
Work environment is in kitchen equipped with commercial appliances
