A growing Ipswich, MA company is looking to hire a Manufacturing Operator to join their team!

-This individual will perform essential job functions under the direction of the Production Manager. This position is responsible for the care and treatment of customers’ inventory and will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.

Willing to consider entry level up highly experienced, Pay commensurate with experience. up to $30hr.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

*Consist of, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with operations, control and monitoring of heat treating and related equipment as required.
• Preparing work for processing.
• Loading and unloading furnaces, bins, fixtures, etc.
• Reporting any problem or irregularity to the supervisor.
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions (orally and written), interact effectively with co-workers and customers, understand and follow all rules and procedures.

Qualifications:

*Consist of, but are not limited to:

• Working knowledge of temperatures, etc.
• able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment.
• Able to bend, pull, lift (up to 35 lbs.) and reach to perform functions.
• May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.

 

-This position is full time M-F, 1^st shift. (May be required to work overtime and weekends on occasion).

-Pay is based on experience and will vary.
