1st Shift Sanitation Lead

Located in Columbus, IN

Salary: $28-30/hr

Company Information: A local company in Walesboro is hiring a Sanitation Lead to their team! This is a clean environment. The company is hiring immediately

You will:

• Be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe environment while leading and training sanitation team members to ensure compliance with company and food safety standards.

Sanitation Lead's Job Duties:

• Lead and support the sanitation team to achieve sanitation and food safety goals
• Ensure production areas, floors, drains, garbage containers, and facility grounds remain clean and sanitary
• Monitor and replenish sanitation supplies throughout the facility
• Coordinate and document sanitation activities, inspections, and schedules
• Train new sanitation employees
• Maintain sanitation chemicals, cleaning equipment, and supplies
• Observe and report pest activity and safety concerns
• Communicate with Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams regarding sanitation needs
• Ensure compliance with SQF, SSOP, GMP, and food safety requirements

Sanitation Lead's Pay/Benefits:

• Pay starts at $28-30/HR

Sanitation Lead's Schedule: 

• 1st shift 
• Monday-Friday 5am-3pm

Sanitation Lead's Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of leadership experience. 
• Must be willing to do hands-on sanitation work.
• Knowledge of food safety, pathogens, sanitation chemicals, and cleaning procedures.
• Strong communication and leadership skills. 
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
