Salary: $48,000 base - $55,000 OTE

Express Employment Professionals in Virginia Beach is hiring a full-time Recruiting & Client Operations Specialist to play a key role in recruiting, associate management, client service, and day-to-day workforce operations.

 

This is not a traditional HR position. The role combines recruiting, workforce coordination, client service, inside sales, and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

 

What You'll Do

• Recruit, screen, interview, and place qualified candidates
• Take ownership of filling client job orders with urgency
• Proactively source candidates instead of relying only on incoming applications
• Manage active associates and address attendance, performance, and assignment issues
• Communicate regularly with clients about hiring needs and current assignments
• Make outbound calls to candidates, associates, clients, and prospective clients
• Market strong candidates and help identify new business opportunities
• Maintain accurate ATS records, documentation, and follow-up
• Balance recruiting, client service, associate management, and business-development activity throughout the day

 

Who We're Looking For

The strongest candidate will be self-motivated, resilient, highly organized, comfortable on the phone, detail-oriented, and able to manage changing priorities without constant supervision.

 

Previous staffing or recruiting experience is preferred, but not required. We are especially interested in candidates with successful backgrounds in:

• Hospitality or hotel operations
• Restaurant management
• Retail management
• Property management
• Dispatch or service coordination
• Customer service leadership
• Recruiting or staffing
• Other fast-paced, people-intensive operations

 

We can teach staffing. We need someone who already knows how to take ownership, communicate professionally, solve problems under pressure, follow through, and keep moving when priorities change.

 

Location: 3079 Brickhouse Court, Virginia Beach, VA 23452
Schedule: Full-time, 8am - 5pm, Monday-Friday, in office
Compensation: $48,000 base salary + performance incentives/commission, with approximately $55,000 OTE
