Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Machinist for a reputable local welding shop in the Dunkirk area. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering competitive pay, a stable schedule, and room for long-term growth within the company.
There experienced CNC Machine Operators on staff who handle machine setups, programming, first-article inspections, and random inspections throughout production. This position will primarily focus on operating the machines and maintaining production.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on experience. The rate may be adjusted for the right candidate.
The responsibilities for this position will include:
- Running high-volume production
- Inspecting parts using measuring tools such as thread gauges, calipers, and micrometers
- Following directions from the supervisor
- Multitasking and operating two pieces of equipment at the same time
Qualifications:
- Prior machining experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Reliable, team-oriented, and focused on quality
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
