Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking Culinary Services & Dining Hall Support Workers to assist with food preparation and dining service operations. These positions involve food prep, kitchen support, and customer service in a busy dining environment. Ideal candidates will be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut fruit and process vegetables for food preparation
• Prepare add-on menu items and assist with meal service
• Make pizzas and scoop ice cream
• Assist customers during meal periods
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Keep prep and service areas clean and stocked
• Support daily kitchen and dining operations

Qualifications:

• Cooking or food service experience required
• Ability to follow food safety procedures
• Strong reliability and attendance
• Comfortable working with customers in a dining environment
• Detail-oriented and safety-focused

• Knives and cutting boards
• Food prep tools

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Frequent repetitive food preparation tasks

Dress Code:

• Full-length pants with no holes
• Closed-toe shoes (non-slip preferred)
• Chef coat and hat provided
