Nighttime Supervisor

Located in Warren, MI

Salary: $22-23 Hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Nighttime Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and ensure teams have the materials, equipment, and resources needed to meet production goals. This position is responsible for scheduling workloads, coordinating employees and departments, enforcing safety procedures, monitoring production, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can coach and mentor employees while effectively solving problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all materials, equipment, and tools are available and in proper working condition
• Assign and schedule daily tasks and workloads to meet production goals
• Coordinate with plant personnel to plan and allocate materials effectively
• Oversee the safe handling and use of equipment including conveyors, cranes, tractors, and trucks
• Inspect incoming materials and verify invoices for accuracy
• Inspect machinery and equipment and coordinate maintenance and repair activities
• Review production schedules and determine staffing and labor requirements
• Interpret job orders and assign duties to employees
• Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
• Communicate company policies and enforce safety regulations
• Maintain accurate employee time and production records
• Coordinate activities with other supervisors and departments to maintain efficient operations
• Coach, mentor, and support employees to improve performance and productivity
• Promote teamwork, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities
• Ability to coach and mentor employees effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Experience working with material-handling equipment such as conveyors, cranes, tractors, and trucks
• Ability to work collaboratively with employees, supervisors, and other departments
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment

Additional information for the Custodial position

·         Pay: $22-23 per hour

·         Monday- Friday: 5PM-1:30AM

·         Warren, Michigan
