Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cafeteria Worker to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, and ensuring excellent customer service for our patrons. The ideal candidate will bring culinary experience, a strong understanding of food safety protocols, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Serve meals efficiently while providing friendly, in-person customer service to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation surfaces in compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, slicers, and POS systems for processing cash transactions.
• Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace and food portioning with precision.
• Follow all food safety management practices to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with catering and banquet setups, serving large groups with professionalism.
• Support cleaning routines, including dishwashing, waste disposal, and equipment sanitation.
• Manage basic math calculations for inventory control, portion sizes, and cash handling accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy meal periods.
