Salary: $75,000-$85,000

A well-established industrial logistics company is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse, terminal, and cargo-handling operations in the New Orleans area. This position will be responsible for leading warehouse personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating labor, ensuring safety and compliance, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse, terminal, and cargo-handling operations
• Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse personnel
• Oversee receipt, storage, handling, and shipment of customer cargo
• Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse transactions
• Coordinate staffing and labor resources to maximize productivity
• Monitor departmental expenses and operational costs
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures
• Work with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal departments
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and security requirements
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support customer audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
• Provide operational updates and recommendations to management

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, terminal operations, or supply chain management
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• Warehouse, port, marine terminal, or similar industrial experience preferred
• Experience with breakbulk, project cargo, steel, metals, or other industrial commodities is a plus
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and cargo management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze operational data and implement solutions
• Familiarity with forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and terminal operating procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Physical Requirements

This position requires regularly walking through warehouse, dock, yard, and terminal areas, working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Required PPE must be worn.
