Licensed Electrician

 

We are seeking a Licensed Electrician for an opportunity with a local client. This position will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring all work is completed safely and according to applicable codes and standards.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, circuit breakers, transformers, conduits, panels, and lighting systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical malfunctions and hazardous conditions using testing equipment such as multimeters, ammeters, and voltmeters.
• Compliance & Safety: Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and building plans. Ensure all work meets NEC, local electrical codes, and OSHA safety standards.
• System Upgrades: Perform repairs, upgrades, and improvements to existing electrical infrastructure.
• Project Management: Plan, lay out, and install electrical equipment and systems according to project specifications.
• Mentorship: Guide and train electrical apprentices and helpers on proper installation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid electrical license
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
