About The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our client's busy team.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in shipping, logistics, and warehouse operations who understands the importance of accuracy, organization, and keeping shipments moving on schedule.

 

The successful candidate will play an important role in coordinating daily shipping activities, preparing documentation, communicating with carriers, and ensuring both domestic and cross-border shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Coordinate and manage daily shipping activities to ensure products are shipped accurately and on time.
• Oversee the order fulfillment process, including picking, packing, labeling, and preparing shipments.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and customs documentation.
• Coordinate cross-border and overseas shipments, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
• Work with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve shipping issues.
• Monitor shipping schedules and communicate with carriers regarding pickup and delivery timelines.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track orders, inventory, and shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of outgoing shipments and inventory transactions.
• Assist with loading and unloading products from trucks and containers as required.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to maintain efficient shipping and distribution operations.
• Assist with improving shipping, warehouse distribution, and order-processing procedures.
• Ensure shipments are prepared in accordance with company and transportation requirements.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in a shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination role.
• Strong knowledge of cross-border shipping processes is required.
• Experience with pro forma invoices, customs clearance, and documentation required for international shipments.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation for overseas/international shipments.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Familiarity with MRP systems is considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Basic math skills with the ability to accurately process quantities and inventory information.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and internal teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Experience operating an order picker or other warehouse equipment is an asset.
• Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining an organized work environment.
