Hours: 7:30am-4pm
We’re seeking an experienced Demand Planner/Buyer to support a regulated nutraceutical manufacturing environment. This role manages demand forecasting, MRP review, purchasing, vendor coordination, and inventory accuracy to ensure materials are available for production.
Review and validate MRP reports based on demand forecasts and production schedules
Adjust planning parameters (safety stock, reorder points, lot sizes) to optimize material flow
Convert planned orders into purchase orders and communicate changes across departments
Manage raw-material sourcing, vendor negotiations, and supplier relationships
Support new product introductions with accurate demand forecasting
Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders to prevent shortages or excess
Maintain accurate data in QuickBooks, Airtable, and Data Ninja
Evaluate vendor pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities
3+ years of demand planning experience in regulated manufacturing (nutraceutical, pharma, or food preferred)
Strong analytical and math skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and QuickBooks
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and understanding of supply-chain dynamics
