Express Employment Professionals of Fargo, ND is recruiting a Construction Superintendent for a growing commercial construction company in the Fargo, ND area.

This role is responsible for managing day-to-day jobsite operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys being in the field and keeping projects moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

Jobsite Leadership

• Oversee daily construction activities and maintain a strong onsite presence.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and materials.
• Monitor project progress and address issues as they arise.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.

Scheduling & Coordination

• Help keep projects on schedule and communicate timeline updates.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and deliveries.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to meet project goals.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings.

Communication & Documentation

• Serve as the primary onsite contact for subcontractors and crews.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
• Communicate jobsite updates, concerns, and progress to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
• Knowledge of commercial construction methods and safety practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
