Position Summary

We are seeking multiple dependable and hardworking Housekeepers/Custodians to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming university campus environment. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.

Housekeepers/Custodians will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, common areas, and other campus facilities.

Job Duties

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Clean and sanitize restrooms
Empty trash and replace liners
Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
Clean doors, windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
Maintain cleaning equipment and supply areas
Assist with moving light furniture or supplies when needed
Report maintenance or safety concerns
Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures
Perform other housekeeping and custodial duties as assigned

Requirements

Must be dependable with good attendance
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
Must maintain a professional attitude while working around students, faculty, staff, and visitors
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience is preferred but not required
Must be willing to learn proper cleaning procedures and safe use of cleaning products

Positions Available

Pay: $14.00–$16.00 per hour
Location: Greensboro, NC
Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available
