Express is seeking a Machine Operator for a Manufacturing Company in Latrobe, PA!

Are you interested in building a career in CNC manufacturing? Express is seeking Machine Operators to operate CNC mills and lathes while producing quality parts to established specifications. Candidates with previous CNC experience are preferred, but entry-level candidates with vocational training, CNC education, or strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply!

Job Duties of the Machine Operator:
• Operate and maintain CNC vertical mills, horizontal mills, and lathes
• Load raw materials and prepare machines for production
• Set up tooling and workholding devices and verify proper machine alignment
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Monitor machine operation and ensure finished products meet specifications
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and operational
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or deviations
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Other duties as required

 

 

Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
• High school diploma or GED
• Attention to detail and safety
• Reliability
• Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred
• 1-3 years of CNC experience is a plus
• Vocational training or CNC certification is a plus
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, or similar CNC controls is preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, crouch, etc.
