Position Summary

The General Laborer is responsible for assisting with the daily operations. This position performs a variety of hands-on tasks related to cricket production, facility maintenance, cleaning, feeding, harvesting, packaging, and general farm operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working in a farm environment, and able to perform repetitive physical tasks while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Feed and care for according to established procedures.
Monitor habitats and report any issues to management.
Assist with harvesting, sorting, and handling.
Clean and sanitize bins, trays, equipment, and work areas.
Move and organize supplies, feed, containers, and equipment.
Load and unload materials as needed.
Assist with packaging and preparing products for shipment.
Maintain proper temperature, humidity, and cleanliness of production areas as directed.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and animal-care procedures.
Perform general facility and grounds maintenance.
Operate basic hand tools and equipment when trained.
Dispose of waste and maintain an organized work environment.
Assist coworkers and supervisors with additional farm duties as needed.
Maintain consistent productivity and attention to detail throughout the workday.
