Brake Press Operator – Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for operating a brake press to bend and form metal parts according to blueprints, specifications, and production requirements. Must be able to independently read blueprints, set up the machine, and produce accurate parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a brake press to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to job specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to determine proper part dimensions.
• Set up and adjust the brake press for different jobs and materials.
• Measure finished parts using appropriate measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Make necessary machine adjustments to produce parts within required specifications.
• Inspect completed parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of brake press experience required.
• Must have experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Must be able to independently set up and operate a brake press.
• Ability to accurately manufacture parts based on blueprints and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to take accurate measurements.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Schedule & Pay:

• Location: Mt. Pleasant, TX
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Full-time position
