Medical Biller

Located in Springfield, MO

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour, DOE

A local Springfield company is searching for a Medical Biller who will have core responsibilities in supporting medical office staff and maintaining detailed patient and medical records. Long-term healthcare facility clients will turn to you for direction on billing and account questions. If you are patient, computer-savvy and can multitask, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to ensure the smooth workflow of our long-term healthcare clients, so they can provide the best possible care to their patients. This fast-paced team-oriented role will commonly work with office staff for collaborative patient satisfaction.

Job Type: Evaluation to hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, DOE

 What we look for in a Medical Biller:

• Experience related to front office medical roles; graduate/certified medical billing program preferred
• Understanding of accounts receivable and medical billing
• HIPAA compliant with sound medical practices
• Technology savvy and experience with EMR and/or HER
• Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products
