Box Truck Delivery Driver

Our client is looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to transport products from their Springfield location to customers, job sites, vendors, and branch locations throughout MA, CT, RI, and NH. This position will also assist with warehouse duties when needed.

Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hr
Location: Springfield, MA
Schedule: Full-time, typically 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Schedule may vary depending on delivery routes, with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Drive company box trucks ranging from 16' to 26' on assigned delivery routes.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload products.
• Review orders and delivery paperwork to ensure all materials are accounted for.
• Deliver products professionally and provide excellent customer service at each stop.
• Receive incoming shipments and compare products against packing slips.
• Assist with picking, stocking, loading, and other general warehouse tasks.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and forklifts as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and driving requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification Card.
• At least one year of box truck driving or related experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to regularly lift and move 60+ pounds.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus, but training can be provided.
