Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

 

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in Northbrook, IL to fill a Material Handler position. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to support production through material handling, inventory control, shipping, and receiving operations.

 

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Build crates, pallets, and custom packaging as needed.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift
