Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Cook for a senior living facility in Ashland. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing quality meals and creating a positive dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to planned menus

• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and dietary requirements

• Accommodate special diets and resident needs

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen

• Follow food-safety and proper food-storage procedures

• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen cleanup

• Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory needs

• Work cooperatively with kitchen and facility staff

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a commercial kitchen preferred

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to follow recipes and accommodate dietary restrictions

• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Oregon Food Handler Card or ability to obtain one

• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 40 pounds

Pay: $22.00+ per hour, depending on experience
Location: Ashland, Oregon
Schedule: Full-time; schedule may include weekends and holidays
