Production Assembly Technician – Carpentry/Cabinetry

 

Pay: $18.00–$19.00 per hour

 

Location: Williston, Florida

 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting Production Assembly Technicians for an established manufacturing company in Williston, Florida.

 

We are seeking dependable, mechanically inclined candidates with one to three years of experience in production, manufacturing, carpentry, cabinetry, construction, or another hands-on trade. This position is ideal for someone with a builder’s mindset who can measure, construct, fit, and finish components—not simply install prefabricated materials.

 

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble interior components and fixtures

• Perform cabinetry, trim, plumbing, and basic electrical work

• Measure, cut, fit, fasten, and finish materials

• Use hand and power tools safely and accurately

• Read measurements and follow production specifications

• Inspect completed work for proper fit, function, and appearance

• Maintain an organized and safe work area

• Assist with other production and assembly duties as needed

Preferred experience

• One to three years of manufacturing, carpentry, cabinetry, construction, or production-assembly experience

• Experience constructing or modifying cabinets, trim, fixtures, or interior components

• Plumbing or basic electrical experience is highly desirable

• Experience in finish carpentry, cabinet shops, manufactured housing, remodeling, or similar production environments is a plus

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately

• Experience using cordless impacts, drills, saws, and other common hand and power tools

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and a builder’s mindset

• Ability to produce accurate, quality-focused work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to Williston

• Willingness to work approximately 50 hours per week while overtime is required

• Ability to provide basic personal tools, including a cordless impact

• Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screen

• Willingness to interview with the employer before placement

Compensation and schedule

• Starting pay of $18.00–$19.00 per hour, based on relevant experience

• Overtime paid after 40 hours

• Monday through Friday, approximately 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

• Approximately 50 hours per week under the current production schedule

• Saturday work is rare

• Estimated weekly gross earnings of approximately $1,080–$1,140 while working 50 hours
