Concrete Construction Superintendent

Position Summary
The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for leading field operations on commercial
and industrial concrete projects.

This is a field-first leadership position focused on:

We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the field and leading work—not
managing from a trailer.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Field Operations

• Direct daily concrete construction activities
• Lead foremen, crews, subcontractors, and equipment resources
• Coordinate manpower and work sequencing
• Drive production while maintaining safety and quality
• Solve field issues and remove obstacles for crews

Plan and Execute Work
• Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings
• Participate in project planning and scheduling
• Coordinate with project managers, owners, engineers, and general contractors
• Develop work plans for major pours and critical operations
• Support schedule recovery efforts when needed

Manage Concrete Operations
Experience in one or more of the following:

• Slab-on-grade construction
• Foundations
• Structural concrete
• Elevated decks
• Industrial concrete
• Tilt-up construction
• Formwork systems
• Layout and control
• Embed and anchor installation

Lead Safety Efforts

• Promote a strong safety culture
• Enforce OSHA and company safety requirements
• Conduct safety meetings and job site inspections
• Identify and correct hazards
• Lead by example

Deliver Quality Work

• Ensure work is installed per plans and specifications
• Monitor workmanship and production quality
• Coordinate inspections
• Address deficiencies quickly
• Maintain high construction standards

Track Production

• Review labor hours and production quantities
• Monitor crew performance
• Identify opportunities for improvement
• Work with project management to achieve schedule goals

Qualifications Required

• 5+ years of commercial or industrial concrete construction experience
• Experience as a Superintendent, General Foreman, Lead Foreman, or similar
leadership role
• Strong understanding of concrete construction means and methods
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Willingness to travel

Preferred

• Data center experience
• Tilt-up experience
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience leading large concrete placements
• Experience with fast-track construction project
