Express Employment Professionals of Longview is currently seeking a Fin Press Operator for a local manufacturing company in Longview, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or machine operation experience who thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Overtime: Must be available to work overtime and occasional night shifts as needed.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Job Summary

The Fin Press Operator is responsible for operating fin press machinery used to manufacture precision metal fins for HVAC, refrigeration, and heat exchanger coil assemblies. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards while meeting production goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor fin press machines to stamp aluminum or copper fins.
• Set up machines, including die changes, coil loading, and proper material alignment.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain production efficiency and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform quality inspections and identify defects such as burrs, misalignment, or damaged fins.
• Measure and verify fin dimensions using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major mechanical concerns to maintenance personnel.
• Maintain proper material flow and minimize scrap and waste.
• Follow all company safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Complete production documentation and work orders accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience required; fin press experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and production work orders.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience in metal stamping, coil manufacturing, or similar production environments preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
