Warehouse & Box Truck Delivery Driver

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $19.00/hour with an increase upon hire
Location: Fort Myers, FL

 

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse & Box Truck Delivery Driver to join a busy HVAC parts distribution company. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in the warehouse but also wants a driving/delivery position.

The first 45–60 days will be spent working in the warehouse to learn the HVAC products, warehouse procedures, inventory, and company processes. Once fully trained and comfortable with the products and procedures, you will transition into the delivery portion of the position.

 

Job Duties

• Pull, pick, pack, and organize HVAC parts and supplies
• Load and unload materials safely
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory
• Learn HVAC products and become familiar with customer orders
• Prepare orders for daily deliveries
• Safely operate a company box truck for local deliveries
• Deliver HVAC parts to customers and job sites
• Obtain delivery signatures and maintain accurate paperwork
• Inspect vehicle and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and delivery vehicle
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Follow all company safety procedures and delivery policies

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
• Comfortable driving a box truck or willing to learn
• Able to lift and move HVAC parts and materials
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to learn different HVAC products and procedures
