Janitor Position - Now Hiring

Pay Rate: Starting at $16.90 per hour

Are you reliable, hardworking, and take pride in maintaining a clean and safe work environment? We are seeking a Janitor to join our manufacturing team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of production areas, restrooms, and company grounds
• Clean machinery and equipment while properly disposing of waste products
• Assist with maintaining machine coolants and oils
• Properly dispose of manufacturing-related waste, including trash, scrap materials, coolant, and grinding waste
• Follow regulations regarding the identification, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste
• Support company quality, environmental, and workplace safety programs
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous janitorial, custodial, manufacturing, or related experience is a plus
• Ability to read basic instructions and complete simple documentation
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills, including navigating files and internet software
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent use of hands and arms
• Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
