Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Downhole Tool Assistant for a great opportunity in the oilfield industry!

Pay: $19/HR
Schedule: 1 Week On / 1 Week Off (MUST BE LOCAL TO MIDLAND) NO housing NOR per diem is offered. 

Job Summary

The Downhole Tool Assistant will support the servicing, maintenance, quality control, shipping, receiving, and delivery of downhole tools. This position will work closely with internal team members and customer field representatives to ensure tools are properly prepared and available for field operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with QA/QC of all tools, including tools, under strict supervision.
• Work closely with customer field representatives to coordinate and execute tool pickup and delivery to customer field locations.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, rebuild, and test tools according to applicable Fortress Work Instructions.
• Report all steps of the Program through software.
• Assist with providing technical support to customers for setting tools
• Ensure all necessary equipment and tools are available and properly maintained to perform job duties.
• Assist with order processing using ERP software and within the warehouse.
• Assist with shipping and receiving of downhole tools.
• Assist with delivery and pickup of tools as needed.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism while conducting all work with honesty and integrity.
• Perform other duties, responsibilities, and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous oilfield, downhole tool, mechanical, warehouse, or related experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be dependable and willing to work a 1 week on / 1 week off schedule.
• Valid driver's license may be required for tool delivery and pickup duties.
