The Presser / Power Charge Operator is responsible for the safe preparation, pressing, loading, and packaging of explosive products used in oilfield operations. This position follows strict safety, quality, and regulatory procedures while operating production equipment and handling energetic materials in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate pressing and charging equipment used in the manufacturing of explosive products.
• Weigh, measure, mix, and load explosive compounds according to company specifications and work instructions.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Follow all OSHA, ATF, DOT, and company safety regulations regarding explosive materials.
• Complete production records, batch documentation, and inventory tracking forms.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and emergency response drills.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and shipping preparation of finished products.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance.
