Campus Maintenance Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout campus buildings, classrooms, offices, common areas, and outdoor facilities.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facility components for issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and general repair work.
• Maintain and repair doors, locks, windows, lighting, fixtures, and furniture.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
• Maintain grounds, walkways, parking areas, landscaping, and exterior campus areas.
• Assist with HVAC maintenance, filter changes, troubleshooting, and coordination with outside contractors.
• Ensure buildings and facilities remain clean, safe, functional, and compliant with applicable safety standards.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, parts, and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and facility projects.
• Assist with emergency maintenance situations, including water leaks, power issues, equipment failures, and other facility emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, work orders, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support setup, breakdown, and relocation of furniture and equipment for campus events.
• Follow OSHA, safety, and campus-specific policies and procedures.
