Punch Press Machine Operator/Inspector Job Summary:

A Grand Rapids based manufacturer of zinc that is in many household products is looking to add a Punch Press Machine Operator/Inspector to their team. This organization has a family atmosphere, strong culture, and really celebrates their employees.

Punch Press Machine Operator/Inspector Responsibilities:

• Operating a punch press
• Taking components and inserting them in the press and inspecting the parts
• Read job instructions
• Working with sharp parts and the ability to handle the parts with care
• Use gauges and sort between good and bad parts
• Working with metals and sharp objects

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st shift 6:00am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday with overtime as required
• $17.00-$17.50/HR 

Punch Press Machine Operator/Inspector Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in metal manufacturing
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds throughout shift
• Ability to set up the machine and prepare for each job
• Ability read and job orders
• High attention to detail
• Dependable, excellent attendance record
