Machine Operator

Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA
Schedule: Day Shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Shift Rotation: 3 Days On / 3 Days Off
Pay Rate: $21.14 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious Machine Operators to join a manufacturing team in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure quality products are manufactured efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment according to established production and safety standards.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report operational or maintenance issues promptly.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and assist with machine setup and changeovers as needed.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Accurately complete production records, quality checks, and other required documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Work collaboratively with production team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving equipment.
